No you can split the course up how you wish. The course is structured to suit the individual. You can do anything from 1-5 days a week or blocks of days broken up. We do need to know which days you want when booking and do advise to try and have at least one 5 day block together, this helps particularly when it comes to your assessments.

The courses run throughout the year and we have no set start or finish dates. Courses are booked to suit the individual and around availability. So the sooner you book the more flexible we can be!

Yes you will need your own equipment to use during your training. We have taken the effort out of searching for equipment, and can provide a standard pack or an upgrade pack for an additional cost (please visit the Equipment Packs page for further details). Both packs contain high quality equipment from leading industry suppliers. If you wish to source your own equipment we can provide an equipment list.
Other than your equipment, you will need to wear sensible clothes and comfy flat, closed toe shoes. Please also bring your lunch and a note pad and pen.

The course is very hands-on and you will start grooming from day one of your course. We then aim to complete 1 to 2 dogs everyday.

On the 20, 24 and 30 day courses you will learn all the main styles and will have had enough experience with clipping, scissoring and hand stripping to feel confident enough to go it alone. Plus we are only a phone call away if you are feeling a bit unsure and need some reassurance. We also have an online Facebook group where students can ask questions openly and have the whole Just 4 Paws network of support, as we now have a large number of past students with experience who are all part of the group.
